National Diploma of Art and Design, Natal Art College, Durban, South Africa 

Master of Contemporary Art (HD), University of Tasmania. 

Collaboratively works with Clive Rouse to design and fabricate public art sculptures & private commissions. Margaret works in a variety of community projects both as designer and often as project manager bringing together a wide range of community skills to work on a project. She paints in watercolour often featuring local flora and fauna.

Artist in Residence Sumburgh Heads Lighthouse and Visitors Centre, Shetland UK. Flow Centre Rockhampton, Owl Journeys book and paintings display, a school holidays program with Birdlife Capricornia. 

2014 

Musclemen exhibition, Kalgoorlie, WA, Arts and Edges, Australian Regional Arts Conference. Owl Project, a multi layered project includes an illustrated children’s book, a display of watercolour paintings and information panels and children and adult workshops, Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens. 

2013 

‘Enviro’ sculpture for Turtle Way Artscape.  Project design selected from ‘Industry sited within the Environment’. Bill Robertson Toyota Dolphin sculpture for showroom. ‘Industry sited within the Environment’ exhibition with Clive Rouse and Allan Andrew at Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum. This project also included a collaboration with the Rainbow Valley Early Learning Centre to work with the children using the ‘Industry sited within the Environment’ exhibition as the source material. A book documenting these activities was produced as well as an interactive learning environment for children accompanied the exhibition
